Bad sign?

Had the lps for more than 3 months. Only big change would be the etoh dosing just got down to nitrates to 0ppm. pH is 8.2 SG 1.024, ammonia has been around .1ppm. Ca at 200ppm dkh is 10. All the rest of the coral are fine.

this was the tank 2 weeks ago. Lps that is sick is top left amd looking fine.

You’re calcium is mad low

Try salinity 1.25-1.26 and raise calcium to AT LEAST 400 ppm

LPS like hammers like a bit dirtier water. Raise nitrates no more than 5 ppm.

I'll start dosing the calcium carbonate. I didnt know that that frog spawn needed nitrate. My other frog spawn still looks good. I'll let the nitrate come back up. Any other suggestions?

I lost a frogspawn and mushrooms to zero nitrates! LPS perk up a bit it seems with a little nitrates present. I dosed sodium nitrate and that helped.

It looks to be chemistry related. Make your changes slow and test often. Keeping chemistry stable is key.

SLOW is key word. NOTHING good happens fast in a reef tank
