Hi guys, normally when I get a new freshwater fish I quarantine all new fish and treat with E.M , Ich- x, and General cure.
I would like to do a quarantine for my new Bamboo cat shark. Can I use these same medications for my cat shark ? If not what alternatives woul dyou suggest. I want to make sure he doesn't have any internal parasites or anything that could harm him. Any and all suggestions are welcome

I know my banded cat sharks were very fragile.. small changes would mess with them.. I did not quarantine mine, but that being said I set up a tank just for them.. they were first ones in and I just monitored them a few months before adding anything else to the tank.. Will also need to make sure you don't have any sharp edges where they can cut themselves..

They will not tolerate most medicines from what I know. Just get it eating so that it is healthy.
