Banggai cardinal tank size

Hi all I have a fluval sea evo 13.5 gallon, currently only has one purple firefish in it and a few inverts, (3 blue hermits and 2 snails).

I am looking for another tank mate for this fish and it will be my last I know I have limited space here. With that being said I want something peaceful to co-inhabit this tank. So my question is, is this tank size okay to put in just one Banggai cardinal fish?

I talked to my LFS and they said it will be just fine but I just want to make sure before pulling the trigger I’ve heard conflicting info any and all response appreciated, any other questions please ask.

One is fine in there. They like overhangs and mod intermittent flow.
