My fellow reefers,

Allow me to introduce my new batch of Banggai Cardinals. Cardinals are a really good selling fish. These little guys are “slow swimmers”.

Cool Facts: Several of us keep them in pairs. Minium recommended tank size is 30 gallons per pair. With the right conditions, cardinals are a good fish to breed in captivity. The female has about 40 eggs at a time which the male carries in his mouth for about a month.

They like to eat small planktic crustaceans, meaty foods like mysys and enriched brine, bloodworms, etc.

They are peaceful reef safe fish.

Take a look at my new quarantined batch that is now ready for their forever reefs.

In this video you will see them during the first feeding of the day :) They are hunting Atlantic arthropods :) Click here to see us hunt :)

Bangaii Update 9.18 - I zoomed in on the fish while they swim, so it's cool to see all their patterns up close.
