so ive had 4 bartletts anthias for a little over a year now and ive had 2 that really transititioned to male and the others are still female (from what i can tell) . I just find it weird that the one male comes out and swims and the others basically just lurk in the rockwork . They really dont chase each other and nothing chases them but they dont like to swim at all really. The second male and the females will literally wedge themselves in between rocks and just sit there sometimes. It kind of reminds me of assessor type behavior. i also notice that when the lights go out the females seem to come out and look like they are feeding in the water column . anybody else witness this kind of behavior?
