R2R Community-

How do you establish baseline parameters for your reef to really see how much calc/alk/mag your corals are using? I test once a week, but it seems as though numbers can jump around a little. Ive also never tested right after a WC to see what the numbers are once elements have been reintroduced through that.

Im not seeing any growth out of most of my frags, and I notice "the big 3" elements are up and down when I test from week to week. Trying to determine if I need to start dosing.

If you are dosing stop for 5 day, test parameters on day 1 and test on day 5 to see what your consumption is and divide by 5 to get your daily average consumption, that should get you what to dose..this also will lead you to stability..
