I’ve had my 6-3 Biospace Reactor up and running since May on a 200 gallon system (150g display + 50g sump) and frankly I’m unimpressed.
1. Tanks ability to process bioload seems unaffected.
2. The media can backflow into the input line. I realize it’s meant to be run continuously, but things turn off occasionally, and this would have been such a trivial fix from the factory. This wouldn’t be such a big deal except the media gets clogged in the lines changing the flow.
3. The water level inside seems to fluctuate between a 0.5” and 3” air gap at the top. Does this matter? No clue because….
4. The complete lack of documentation from Bashsea. Nothing in the box, nothing on their site, nothing available from their support if you email them besides being told it’s plug and play. Hell, their site still doesn’t even list this thing as something they sell.
I should have listened to those calling this thing snack oil instead of letting my love for shiny new things win
