No help out there?
I have a Bashsea 8-30 and something I did was to route the outflow to be lower in the water. I played around with different pvc elbows, I have been able to get it the quietest by having the water output about 2 inches from the bottom of the sump. Is a quiet skimmer but is very good and it won’t overflow for nonsense reasons.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
