I plan to add a Black Cap Basslet to the 120 next month but I was also thinking of doing a school/schoal/group of Chalk Bass. From what I've read the Chalk Bass can be kept in groups but they say the Black Cap can get aggressive towards other Basslets once established.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these types of fish and/or have any recommendations if this would work out or not?

Good info. I've read they are big time jumpers. Luckily I have screen tops but not sure if those will contain them...

The chalk bass is peaceful. Mine stays low in the tank and only is near the top at feeding time but my tank is 48" tall. Very hardy though. A school would do well. Good luck.

o_O 48" tall? Do you have any pics of your tank?
