Does this get similar results like the clip on orphek for cellphones?

I think I got the wrong orange type of filter for my macro (Very similar camera setup), and it just blasts out orange pics :(

This specific lens has the correct flavor of orange to give you a good blue filter. Unfortunately not all oranges are created equally and a lot of cheap filters just use what ever color of orange they get for cheap.

Thanks, I'll grab one of these.

I've had some reasonable like tweaking with white balance and getting pretty good results, but its always a chore and a guess.

Yeah I had to play with that a lot when I was on a Smart Phone.

I'm using a Canon EOS Rebel T5 with a Tokina at-x 100mm Macro Lens and Tiffen 5585B Filter.

Thanks for this, got the right filter, this is awesome. Now I need to grab the tripod for stability!

Very cool man. I don't use a tripod myself but if it helps, take the shots while exhaling to increase stability.
