.
Stalking Boy Meets World GIF

Still on the outside waiting to see if 2 people drop out or don’t pay.
You could buy one and pretend you're in the contest.

In all honesty, I don't care so much if I win or lose. I'm excited to see what a contest will motivate me to do for my tank. There are many water changes or parameter tests that I skip because I get too content with the way things are. I see so many of you achieve excellent growth and coloration that I could only dream of. I feel so out of my league with this, but I love it.

Let's all remember why we're in the hobby in the first place. One day we saw a reef tank or dove in some tropical place and thought, "I want that beauty all of the time." This is so awesome.

I think the winner should receive a Battlecorals grow out challenge badge, or at least a SPS grow out challenge badge...though I do like the sound of Battlecorals grow out challenge better. ;)

Adam and I were actually talking about designing t-shirts for the contest. Possibly with the names of the winners on the back or something... :)

The old "it ain't the size of the frag" routine lol...
I'm kidding I hope to see the year through first and foremost

I’ve been busy..lol. 2nd tank is done... corals transferred. Working on gluing SPS plugs to grow out tiles now that I have room.
That is a very nice looking frag tank. I think I wrote that earlier.

I have to ask tho, are you going to put your Bonfire in a brand spanking new tank? Gutsy move if so.

No all my tanks are plumbed together. All I did was add another 90 gallons onto the 415 I already have. First pic is my 245 that drains to the basement. 2nd pic is my first frag tank. It’s now my SPS grow out. .. need a new pic. It has my competition frag in it. And the 3rd pic shows what I’m adding onto them. 4th pic is what one of the empty tanks is now. One tank left to do. But I’ll give it some time before I add it to the system. I’ll have a SPS, LPS and Zoa Mushroom tank when I’m done. Along with the 245 SPS tank upstairs.

Awesome setup. No issues with dinos when adding new, sterile, tanks to existing system volume? I got them every time I added new volume.

No issues with the first 90 tank I added. But I dosed nitrate and phosphate to the new tank water before adding to the system. I didn’t dose any with this 2nd tank. Tested my water the next day and nutrients stayed the same. I’ll wait a few months before adding the last tank. I also have a TMC 115 watt UV I believe it is. I think the total volume of water is so great and I have a ton of live rock in my 3 year old 245 is a huge reason. Adding 90 more doesn’t make a difference.

Received my BattleBox and Bonfire grow out frag. Awesome box, very happy!! The packaging was also superb, that's how frags should always come. Nicely sealed and labeled bags, frag plug cups and some carbon. NICE

Thanks for sharing. Well executed.
