I'll be the first to update. I'm not taking my May picture yet, but I had to raise the alk in my tank to get it closer to where I wanted. I was originally going to let it sit where it was (7.2-7.5), but I know that corals grow faster with elevated alk. I have it sitting now between 7.9-8.2. Because I didn't raise it slowly enough (took 3 days), I got burnt tips on the acros in the tank. All is still well though. I needed the handicap anyways. I just switched to brightwell neo marine from red sea. Nearly identical parameters, but brightwell is completely artificial. Blue bucket always left a brown residue on the edges of the brute.
