Nice thank you. I just order the same tank.

Nice! I am really happy with it. I would recommend getting a little larger grain of sand then I have because when you crank the wave maker up it creates a vortex of sand!

Very pretty little tank! Very nice water station ;) that is quite the stack of yetis that you have wow ;)
Thanks bud, I am a gear junkie, so reef tanks are right up my alley. Have a yeti for every type of situation, Camping, Boating, Hunting, fishing, beach, etc. Love those things!

Thanks! I bought the birds nest prior to my dosing pumps and I ended up possibly burning it with alk fluctuations, Or at least that is my best guess. I pulled it out because it had receding. There was several points where it had fused to the rock and they are re-sprouting.. It should provide an interesting look once they start growing larger. Its the fastest growing coral in the tank so I am not too bummed.

Just set up the Apex JR. I wanted a basic controller to shut off dosing pumps in the event the PH spikes and shut off the heater if the temp gets to high. I still need to do some cord management, mount the display and install the leak detection probe. The alarms, Monitoring and email/sms features are a nice bonus.

What type and how many marinepure block(s) did you use and where did you put it? Are you able to take a picture of it? I'm setting up my 170 this coming month and need to decide on how much and which MarinePure block to get.

Hi! I went with the 8" X 8" X 1" then I sawed it into 6-8 pieces and I placed it underneath the auto top off right where the overflow tubes are in the sump stacked. They are really fragile so you will need to rinse well with rodi after you cut it down. I have a large bioload and with the live rock, sand bed and marine pure it seems to be handling it.
