Sorry for the late reply BCRIBS but I love my Yeti Tundra 75 as well, it's amazing how great those ice boxes are;) So BCRIBS I wanted to ask you how you are liking your Reef Octopus 110SSS ? Just due to the fact that I am thinking of buying the Reef Octopus 150SSS for my 40g build that I am planing . Do I would love your opinion on that skimmer if you don't mind.. thanks. The tank is coming a long very nice [emoji106] keep up the amazing work?!!

It's funny you ask that question. I just did a major cleaning and vacuumed the sump. I pulled the skimmer out for the first time in 8 months to access and just rinsed it out because I had it out. I was just thinking today how well it works, zero maintenance, besides emptying the cup of course, couldn't be happier. I would recommend for sure!

Back to the yeti, my buddy just showed me the rticcoolers site; great! Now that I own most of those products he is buying it for 60% off.. ohh well my yeti still has ice in it from New Year's Eve! Haha.

That's very good to know about the skimmer thank you very much BCRIBS , I may just stick to buying the Reef Octopus Classic 150SSS . My next question would be is the skimmer pretty quite or no?

It is really quiet. Check out BRS, the reviews are excellent on the space saver and the claim on the classic is it is loud... Because the collection cup is so tall on the space saver i would bet that the collection cup is similar in size if not more. Its a good brand either way.. I am sure you can't go wrong.

Things have been going pretty good. I am about 2 weeks away from a year that it has been running. I seemed to have a nutrient rich environment where most everything was thriving. I started seeing some hair Algae growing in patches and began reducing nutrients with Zeobac and CyanoClean. It melted it away. However I think it is running too clean at this point. I noticed 1 of my SPS corals that was thriving start to show signs of stress. Hopefully it will recover. I will post a picture when I get home so you can see where it is at.

Thanks Bud! I started running SPS AB+ about 3 months ago. Seems like growth has been better. 10 hours per day 55%.

I'm running the same on my 170 colours and growth are great, but I've swapped to wide angle lenses. Are you on the standard TIR lenses?
