I don't have any images, but my sea urchin has lost about 2 spines, and I read that it is very bad if they are losing spines. He hasn't lost any spines in a few hours but has stayed almost entirely idle. He has started to move, just very slowly. There is plenty of food in the tank.
I believe he is stressed since I didn't do a good enough job of acclimating him, and my LFS checked my paramaters and my nitrate/nitrite/ammonia is all good, and I threw some prime in the tank just to be 100% sure.

Do not intentionally feed which will affect water quality, A couple spines, not abnormal- many spines a problem. How is water flow?
Acclimation always very Critical for survival and adaptability

The water flow is moderate, it creates a decent bit of flow. It's a colbalt aquatics mj1200, and my tank is 14G. This is a lot of flow, so I usually aim the stream upwards. He has lost 3, he isn't losing anymore but it can be hard to tell which bits in the sand I see are spines. It's at least 2 and at most 4.

And what do you mean not intentionally feed? I've fed my clownfish today.
