I also think I’m going to try and find a healthy baby blue Atlantic tang. I’m thinking 2 or 2.5 inches. Seeing as it’s a slow grower, I figure why not. Probably won’t find one for a few weeks. But it’s worth it

she or he will be ol’ blue. And with any luck, she or he will be there with the Fox, Bonnie, and Clyde when the leviathan finally awakens

The halimeda opuntia will be a fox face snack. Be sure to remove or cover with something.

Any macro you want to keep I would keep away. An easy trick is to get some egg crate and trim it to section off the tank for the time being. Just use a rock to hold it up and put the macro on one side and the fish on the other. You only need a 2” section, so won’t kill tank size for the fish by much.

I find myself viewing my rock almost like a treasure. Not in the sense of gold or precious minerals. Rather like it’s a sort of seed. Worth cultivating and maintaining. I find myself wanting to order more and idk, stockpile? Try and keep all the various sponges, algaes, etc alive and ready to seed new systems.

…..I really have lost it.

oh I already know I need one eventually. Kellie wants a tank big enough to snorkel in. I don’t really know how that’ll happen. But obviously a prerequisite is a fish barn.

I think I’ll be surprised by how soon I end up having a barn.

I believe you lol. I truly believe that in 20 years I’ll have either a fish barn like you (assuming I’m somehow unable to figure out the snorkel reef and have a barn anyway), or a basement LFS/aquaculture station like Frank.

and I’m completely okay with it.

Frank and myself are ok with it also. The more people that do it, means we look less crazy lol.
