I’m wondering if I ordered berghias and placed about 5 different rocks in side tank to have them breed and place them all around the main tank if the population would manage to clean the aiptasia before the wrasse kills them off.

Maybe... Some wrasses will kill quick and others wont. I have about 10 wrasses in my tank and 8 of them will leave them alone. But my melanaruss and harlequin instantly go full apex predator and hunt them down. I have to put any inverts in at night while the fish are sleeping. Then I still expect to lose 50% of them day one.

I certainly wouldn’t chance it. My gut tells me they would be a very expensive meal for the wrasse

Yea see I’m wondering if I can just seed some rocks and put it in after eggs are laid and move to other ones and do the same. I only have 1 6 line. I mean my copepods and amphipods are everywhere I don’t seed my tank anymore

I used a filefish last setup I had but it started eating my anemone.. don’t want my torches getting messed with

I’ve done it in my tank with a sixline. The Berghia are nocturnal and active while the wrasse is sleeping. He nor you will see them until they are out of food. If you do decide to give it a go add the Berghias after lights out.
