Today marks the start of my Aiptasia eradication. Just received a box of 20 1/4" berghia nudis. I'll use this thread to document their progress :)

They are going into a Nuvo 20. I plan on sharing them with local reefers upon their success.

You have an army of berghia for a 20g tank....

I hope so! It was the best bang for the buck. 5-15 was going be at least 60$

Be sure to drop about 3 or 4 berghs in the back chamber too...

Good idea. We've got palm trees in our overflow area. Lol. They look like they'd swallow my finger.

I have no fish in my system and only 3 hermits. So no predators. I've got them acclimating with the lights dimmed now.

I'm sorry if I insulted you. Definitely no intentions there. I just figured with 20 berghia for a 20g tank, that the tank was being overran with aptasia.

:D You definately did not! I know there are much tanks worse off than mine, so figured I would mention it isn't too bad yet. The 20 pack just seemed to be the best way to buy them to lessen shipping. This way I can knock them out quick and share the love with some local people that don't want to drop too much $$ ;Greedy

Once they rid your tank of aiptasia, I would be interested in getting some more. I bought 8 for my 55 gallon that is indeed infested. So far I can't tell if they are manning a difference...
