I’m currently running a 20 watt Led light with a 10 min sunrise and 10 min evening cycle and I wanted something where I could make my own schedule.
The tank is dominated by LPS and Softies and I also have some Stylophora frags.
What is your recommendation for a nice light where I can customise my own schedule?

Thank you,
Claudio

Any 50-60 watt will work well. I use AI Prime on my 15 gallon, this is a great light to customize to your liking. I use jebao 60 watt on my 10 gallon which is also customizable but the color output is not as nice as the Prime IMO.

AI Blade Grow with elevated legs to get a little more spread. Dead silent, easy to setup, great lights. You won't have to deal with melted lenses either like the AI Prime has

Is there any way to make an ai prime not too loud with 50-70% watt output?
I have one at home but at the beginning it was too loud and before I would brake I took it off to make sure I could still return it.
Do you think I could still try it out ine day without risking to not be abke to return it anymore?

And I wanted to mention that I don’t need much par anymore because I’m transitioning this tank to an gorgonian/soft coral tank, what do you think how much intensity i‘ll need for those coral?

I think the common misconception is that soft corals don't require high light, but that's not true and all depends on what you're keeping. Some gorgs are high light or do well with high light, same with sarcophyton species like S. elegans.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
