Best location for wavemaker

People running the hello reef or IM nuvo 15 where do you place the wavemaker. Currently my wave maker is on left hand side pointing towards my return nozzle.

Im a little lost where I should place the wave maker.

There is nothing wrong with having it placed there. Once you get corals in there, you can adjust the flow accordingly to make sure nothing is getting blasted
