People running the hello reef or IM nuvo 15 where do you place the wave maker. Currently my wave maker is on left hand side pointing towards my return nozzle.

Im a little lost where I should place the wave maker.

You have it positioned correctly IMO, having 2 sources of flow bounce against each other to create random flow patterns is the ideal set up. Angled slightly upwards as you have it is perfect, you want good surface agitation. Well done and great aquascape!
