Hum the Viparspectra lights are looking like a decent option, the pice is right. The Photon V2+ was high on my list durning the tank build but for the price to light my tank I would be spending close to the same price as AI lightso I ruled it out. The reviews on SB Reef lights really good and t’s it seems they have all the right diodes for a reef tank out of the box, wifi control options ect I just really hate they way they look. Worse than a standard BB IMO.
Hi, it’s a good idea to spend the most money you can afford on your lights , biological filtration, and pumps, as it gets expensive to replace them or upgrade them later on.

I am considering 2 Viparspectra lights at this point to replace my 2 250w MH pendants. I am seeing good experiences with this light. It has a good mix of diodes out of the box and I like the built in timer and single power cord.
