Best Nano skimmer

I have the same tank, the 27 gallon marineland cube, and I am using a tupperware sump, wasn't able to fit a 10 gallon under there, but I am using the SWC-120 cone skimmer. It is an awesome skimmer, couldn't be happier with it, and it was only $200. I would def go with one of these before an old injection style 9002.

My vote would be for a Nano Reef Systems skimmer. I have ran one for a year and a half in 60 gallons of water volume (RSM250) and it is a beast. Plus it is silent and only pulls 16 watts I think.

Hope this helps Good luck!

I have heard a lot of good things about the Tunze a well and everyone on most forums seems to recommend it. I have also heard a bunch about the remora, but I have heard from multiple people it is pretty loud.

Good luck with your choice and let us know how it turns out

Sapphire aquatics skimmer is the best for nano tanks! but I think it was discontinued??

Sapphire aquatics went out of business. I have a Tunze 9002 in my BC29. I'm having a terrible time getting it to work, I'm about to throw it as far as I can. All I'm able to get it to do is make a bubbling noise & not get anything to come up the skimmer cup(in tank cup) I've tried all sorts of screw adjustments.

Yes what a shame that the saphirre skimmer co. went out of busieness don't know why like I said before they are the best imo for nanos if you can find one forsale jump on it
