what is the best place to buy macro algae?

idk what the *best* place is, but I've purchased from Algae Barn and Reef Cleaners and have been very happy with both.

I got some from the LFS, he reached in grabbed a volley ball sized chunk and charged me $10. It was chaeto, grape caulerpa, caulerpa prolifera, caulerpa ashmedeaii, and red pompom. Was also teeming with pods. It has been a year and i havent seen anything detrimental pop up.But, your mileage may vary.

live-plants.com except you buy in spring when they have stuff in stock.

www.live-plants.com is my go to and favorite. Got prolifera and a couple corals and they did great. Options come and go but if you send an email, he's always replied back and very friendly. I will be using them when I set up my next display macroalgae tank.

What type of macroalgae are you lookign for?
im not really sure. and maybe I called it the wrong thing. but I was thinking of placing different algaes like the mermaid tails or the paint brush looking ones. (excuse my lack of knowledge)

Looking to do something a little different than my other reef tanks
