Hey guys! Long time no see! So to keep it brief, I currently have a 180g with a 75g sump. A portion of that sump is a dedicated fuge....I’m curious what everyone’s favorite macroalgae is to help with nutrient reduction. I’ve heard good things about caulerpa? What do you think? Thanks so much!

Chaeto seems to be king. It consumes nutrients and when it dies off it releases good nutrients back into the tank. And it can't go sexual and wipe out a tank. Personally I do a combination if Chaeto and Caulerpa Mexicana.

I do the same, although the Caulerpa seems to outgrow the chaeto. It grows like crazy.
