Work in progress. I believe once automated all aquariums can be easier to maintain. But I love larger tanks.

Bigger in moderation depending on your time available. If saltwater is your only hobby than bigger is better. But if it’s only one of your hobbies then something manageable like mentioned early in this thread. I think small like under 50 gal seems like too much work for the benefit. Unless they are tied into a bigger system. Which would be cool. Only one monitoring system, ATO, water change, testing, etc. would be nice. Like if each kid or room had one and only had to clean the glass. I think a medium tank would be best for people with a busier life. My 90 cube was good. I’m going for a 150 next which will give me more room for a more diverse coral and fish selection than my last 90, which prolly had less than 20 corals and less than 10 fish.
