1 1/2 in steel was used to make that stand. That will be a great sized tank.

Finally chose a color blue for the background. Lets just say there are A LOT of choices out there. Ocean Front sounded like a nice blue.

Im still unsure on how far I want the tank out from the wall. Having more space behind would help with cleaning.

You'll get used to being out a bit. Trust me, you'll be sorry if you don't. :)

Cleaning glass, powerhead (if applicable), retriving things (dropped frags, jumping fish), vacuuming, etc, etc. It'll even help cut down heat tranfser to/from that exterior wall.

80 lbs of pukani rock. Originally I was going to buy more but I'm glad that I didn't. This rock is really porous.

Figuring out what dimensions I want for my sump. Planning on 3- 7in filter socks in the first chamber (overkill?), skimmer and media reactor in second, refugium in the third, and return in the last chamber.

Well its been a while since I last posted anything. I have been working on the sump design and looking for sump builders in my price range and am thankful that is all done!
Sump was sent out today and here are some pics.
