Bio pellet reactor flow

i have had a pellet reactor for awhile and am thinking of setting it up .
I know to start with a lot less than recommended amout of pellets but was unsure of water low
 
Yes, start off with 1/2 recommended bps and put enough flow through it to keep the pellets suspended and moving so they won't clump up on you. After a few weeks add a little more bps, etc, until you get to the recommended amount for your water volume. Be sure to feed the affluent of the reactor to your sump or as close as you can get to the intake of your skimmer to get rid of bacteria.
 
Here is how I made a quick adapter to have the bio pellets reactor dump into the skimmer

That looks great I just have to see if I can find enough space to fit in sump skimmer inlet is tight to side wonder if an 90 fitting would effect . The 90 would give me the space needed to make a adapter like your
