Hey r2r, recently picked up a used Skimz biopellet reactor and I am about to set it up on my 40 gallon. Couple quick questions, do I use the black sponges it came with? And how many bio pellets? Brs recommends about a cup. Thanks !!

I'm not an expert on biopellet amounts, but I'd go with the recommended amount since it will be slow to start to function, unlike liquid organic carbon dosing, where you may want to start slower.
