So I have been running bio pellets on my tank for the last 5 months and have decided to stop using them. I could go into why but the real questions are;

Is their a process I should follow or can I simply pull my reactor off line.

Current NO3 is about 1-3 (it was at 25 when I started this journey)

I liked the bio pellets but the reactor kept getting some hard white circle growths. One pellet would stick more stuck to that till it was a glob cleaned out several times. Gave up took it off. Starred using red sea no3po4x. Best thing for my tank cause corals are growing fast and colorful compared to the.brown lumps they had been for a year. And for the first time ever I'm starting to see polys I can't tell you just how happy that made me:bigsmile:
