I have set up an old Oceanic Biocube 14 and ordered some of the stock filter cartridges. I can’t seem to figure out how to insert the cartridge correctly. Can anyone assist? Does the filter side with the cotton material face the display area or the back of the tank. Where in the compartment should it be seated?

Thanks in advance!

It stands up and floss faces display. Mine never stood clean, awkward angle. At $7ea, Just bypass it and get an in tank shelf and use floss, chemo blue, etc. much cleaner setup.
