Looking for advice on what to run in my biocube 32. Looking to run a refugium chamber with the in tank acrylic setup along with there filter setup. Protein skimmer in chamber 1? or not needed in a tank this small. Trying to rock some corals in the future once my tank is fully cycled any feedback appreciated thanks

What ive currently added since, obvious lots of live rock/sand. 1 ecotech mp10 on right middle side(Not sure on best placement yet), would a second be needed or complete overkill? , vortex generator 3d printed on return pump. pump upgraded to a cheap 450gph pump came with tank when purchased, possibly thinking about swapping to a dc pump in this gph once it dies?) Tank is in living room so I prefer quiet noise outside of water trickling

I think a second would be overkill on this size tank, the curved front helps direct water nicely.
Don't think you need a protein skimmer either. Water changes etc should do fine for you.
What other type of filtration are you running? Media basket etc?

In tank drop in 3 stage. I have floss up top , second chamber is some Rock and last chamber is Bio 35 for another bio filtration

You should be solid with that.
I ran similar for about a year or so before I combined my tanks.

Never ran a true chemical media in the past but I’ve only ran fresh water. Used to use the BioCube stock filters which have carbon in them but steered away from that for this salt setup/to save money aswell

I had a friend print out media baskets for my 25 gallon nano . Removed the supplied socks as soon as I got them and have added plain floss. I’ll be adding a Chemipure Blue sack to one side when it gets delivered and the other side is available for anything extra needed.

I have a 32 gallon Biocube with softies and LPS. I have 2 MP10's on the lowest settings for reef crest. I'm skimerless and have both inTank media racks. I use filter floss, no other filtration other than having a refugium that runs for 8 hrs a day. Keep it simple man.

I have a Hygger wave maker and split return nozzles for the return pump. I do have a protein skimmer that helps with oxygen exchange as well, 3rd chamber I have a uv sterilizer. I also added led light strips to the hood much of my filtration was based on the video I will post.

Any recommendations on where to mount? if running 1 or both?

Any recommendations on a protein skimmer? Would like to run it in chamber 1 or worst case 3, chamber 2 is filled with my in tank Refugium / filter so not really an option unless it will fit above

Appreciate it , so if you were only rocking 1 I’m assuming you would keep it on the right to create a bouncing effect off the return?
I’d personally keep one on the front left to create kind of a circular motion from the water that’s pushed from the return but that’s just me.

Was reading mixed reviews on it but for the price probably worth it to try
Ya, difficult to tune in at first. Chunky but not dark skimmate. But great for oxygenation. This is my cube.
