Toadstool finally opened!

Got an interesting one, hoping someone can advise. The clowns I had for 4 weeks died 2 weeks ago, I added 2 new clowns on Sunday and they died Thursday. I have a firefish and watchman in the tank that are doing fine.

Why are the clowns dying!?

I would say the Watchman doesn't look happy about it, but they never look happy about anything. Did you figure out what happened to the clownfish?

Watchman kept going back! He liked it, even flipped upside down. Never figured out the clowns, I add 2 more yesterday and let’s see how they do.

This is my 3rd set of clownfish that have got these white dots on them, kinda of flakey. The first 2 sets died, hoping I can save these. Watchman goby, firefish and all corals and inverts are doing fine and show no signs of any disease or distress.

What keeps killing my clownfish?

Woke up to a dead clown this morning. Bump any ideas please let me know

It is the hashtag used to get the attention of the folks here that know a lot of fish disease. Not sure if people search for the hashtag or if it sends notifications to these folks. they usually find the post when the hashtag is used, but I still would post all the information in the "Fish Disease and Diagnosis" forum with a picture or video under white light if possible. They always ask for that. There are some very knowledgeable folks around here that can often identify what is going on.

Brother, I have also lost a total 4 clownfish in less than 20 hours this weekend. You're not alone. Sorry or your loss. Hopefully you and I can figure out what is going on with the clowns.

Tank update:

Alkalinity: 7.3 dKH

Calcium: 450 ppm

Magnesium: 1380 ppm

Nitrate: 12.3 ppm

Phosphate: 0.26 ppm

I lost my frogspawn but hammer looks small but still there. Leather, Duncan and clove polyps all doing well.

Tank update:
I redid and added live rock into my tank last week. Glued all the rocks and solidified the structure inside the tank.

Corals haven’t reacted well, and I don’t blame them. A bunch of expoy was added to the rocks and hopefully the tank makes it. I did about 50% water change after the tank settled and another 20% on Thursday. Hoping it clears it self out.
