What ato and/or protein skimmer do you guys use in your biocubes? I have a 14 gallon biocube.

I don't run a skimmer on nanos. a big water change is more effective at removing excess nutrients.

The best ato ever made...

I agree with this... on that Small of a tank you don't really need to have a skimmer. Would it help? Yes of course it would. But if you can keep up with water changes I'd say you don't need one. I'd keep an eye on your parameters, if there good no need for a skimmer if they are not the best I'd add a skimmer too see if it helps.

As it goes for a ATO unit. In my personal experience with ATO's the auto Aqua Smart ATO Micro would fit perfectly for that tank with a 2 gallon reservoir. I've had the Auto Aqua Micro and regular size unit in past tanks and they work great I've never ran into issue.
