I have the biocube 32 and 4 clownfish. I know fish sleep. But my lfs said to leave the light all the time. White in the day and the blue at night. But I read online that if I do that they will stress and die. So which is true do I leave the lights on all the time, or do I have the blue light on only for an hour. I just change the light from on all the time to 8:00am sunrise, 8:30am sun is up, 7:00pm sunset....then, 11:30pm moonrise, and at 1:30am moonset. Please help.

That is wrong what they told you.. most people leave their lights on between 8-12 hours a day. The best light cycle for allot of people is have blues come on at ten, have whites than come on around noon to eight. And than have your blues go off around nine or ten. Just my two cents..

Thanks got it.
