Ok Folks,
I want to get a biopellet reactor. Help me choose one for my 210-gallon tank. If I could get my nitrates at a steady
5 no more than 10, I would be happy. I can't have them at 25 and water changes are great but I can only do them every so often with school and all and taking care of my mom. So please send recommendations. I already have a
Sicce SYNCRA SILENT 2.0 PUMP (568 GPH) pump and would like to use that. I can tune it to pump less. Thanks.
Also give recommendation on biopellets. Thanks again.

This combo should work, make sure that you plumb the exhaust and close to the inlet of your skimmer, strat slow use a little and add slowing, soak the pellets overnight. A DC pump would be easier to use, pellets like to clog so by turning up the DC pump to flush the film would help. YOu could use your pump, it might not be powerful enough. The pellet bounce should be pleasant to watch not violent max turbulence.

I use the aquamaxx on my 180. Run it off of the manifold.

You can still run carbon but not in the reactor. The flow the BioPellets need will crush the carbon. You will need a second reactor or media bag.
