I'm happy to report that all of the aiptasia that I can see are gone. And in other news I decided to pull the trigger on one of these during a flash sale yesterday:

So after a couple of weeks with running the Osix I'm really happy with the results. The fish seem to be calmer in the evening as the light winds down and it gives me some leeway if I forget to feed right at 6pm because instead of my lights going completely off the gradual wind down still allows me to feed.

I think my plan now is to add 2 more light bars to the system as this winter has been pretty dark and it's been a slow growth period for some of the corals. I might have to have a summer and winter light setting in the Osix to allow me to reduce the amount of light in summer and increase it in the winter.

So one of the things I have been trying is seeing if my fish are going to eat zoa's. The great news is I've had 5 frags of zoa's on my frag wall for about 6 months now and not a single head has gone missing. Next steps will be to expand the number of zoa's on the back wall till it's completely covered in color.
