My West African biscuit starfish definitely began eating my GSP on the back wall once he discovered it.
I removed it the next day.
They are beautiful, but it was another reminder against impulse purchases.
The impulse is real. Did you qt yours?

no, mine was moved a few times and never had any health issues

thats too bad. I had a huge all of GSP, well over 12" x 12" and my star didn't fuss with it at all.

Is your starfish still alive??
We have the same species in our tank and also desperately looking for tips to avoid any future health issues
