Plus my jewel damsel is acting fine but his colour and spots are faded when will his spots come back

If the breeder box is big enough to hold the clown, I’d go a week before reintroducing. Fish colors can change when it is under stress but do usually return.

If it is due to stress, as soon as it no longer feels it. You may want to check with a flashlight when lights are out, it should feel more safe. Any pictures?
