I am planning on buying lights for my 40 breeder build during Black Friday sales.
I’m thinking two Radion xr 15’s.
1. Is That overkill for a 40 breeder mixed/sps tank? I don’t want to be limited on what I keep by inadequate lighting.
2. Pro or Blue? I’ve had a hard time finding pictures that compare these options.
3. Other brand of lighting?

If there are threads that address these questions pleas add the links.

Thanks

40's are pretty shallow. I think with 2 primes you'll be fine and save some cash to be spend elsewhere.

I've had both Pro and Blue. I went blue in the end because I ended up running the Pro close to AB+ (White channels at 25%).

Another option would be get 1 Pro and a Reefbrite XR15 kit.

I've got one radion xr 30 over my 40 breeder and good coverage. Overkill...yes. If you ever upgrade your still good to go.

What all in your tank? SPS? Zoas? LPS? what your lighting profile and intensity?

Only asking cause I'm using G5 XR30 Blue on a RMS Mount and curious what other peoples settings are.
