Black ich question

I have a powder brown tang with black ich that’s been in qt for two weeks, he’s gone through 2 rounds of prazi and it has not gone away. Does anyone know if api general cure will work for black ich? Should I just do another round of prazi, he seems healthy very active and eats well I just can’t get the black spots off

Taken at face value, that means it is proper formalin and will work.

Just ordered some quick cure should I use this as a bath? Or treat the entire qt tank? Or should I combine with prazi (dip in bath then back to qt tank w/ prazi)???

I always use it in a 45 min bath treatment, followed by transfer into a clean/sterile QT to prevent reinfection. Future baths may or may not be needed. I’ve seen it work out both ways.

So after a formalin bath and 3 rounds of prazi I can’t seem to to get rid of the ich I just performed the second bath how soon should I see the black spots disappear? Is it after the bath or during?
