Do you have anemones? Have the clowns been recently introduced to the anemones? Could be discoloration from the stings.

Noticed a few black spots on the clowns that hadn't been there before. Found another thread suggesting they might get hypermelinization: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/black-spots-on-clown-fish.130744/

Same thread also suggested black marine ich. Any ideas?

Sorry for the shaky camera. Thanks!
I couldn’t actually see the spots in the videos -

It’s unlikely to be Turbellarins, (black ich), clownfish rarely get that disease.

What corals do you have? Sting LPS corals are the common cause of black spots on clownfish.
