Ok. Typically the iodine in fresh water change can help with molting. But since he already molted, there is a good chance he has a disease. FWIW this shrimp typically only lives 3 years anyway. They are personable and entertaining and often times cheap. So in my perspective, not a huge lose if he does have issues.I am doing some research about it now I guess it is melanosis, cause by enzymes from the shrimp it self.

It could just be a water quality issue. But all in all, molting usually cures it and Iodine will help trigger a molt. If not, you can wait for the outcome. In the mean time you could read up on Taura Syndrome. Not sure if it will help though. Good luck.
