blackout for cyanobacteria

220 with 75 sump. Leaving light on in sump to get algae growing in refuge area. Using a incandescent light when feeding over main tank. Running skimmer all 3 days and pitting new filter sock on after day 2. Soon as I turn lights back on I am going to put more macro in refuge to take up excess. Hopefully this crap wont start back up. I also put an air stone in refuge to help algae growth go down there instead of main tank.
Any thoughts?
