I purchased a Psammocora about 10 days ago. Was dipped in Coral RX prior to entry into the tank. I had it on the sane bed for 3 days and then moved it up to the top of one of my rock structures. It is in par at about 160-170 according to the Seneye and it has gradually lost color. The polyps around the edge are are very faint. The dark purple is fading gradually throughout the coral but some of the polyps are still bright. Should I move it to lower par? First picture (dark purple coral) is of the day I got it, second picture is today.

Alk is 9.2
Calc 415
Salinity is 35.5
PH 8.38
Phos .05
Nitrate is 3-5

I see no pests and nothing came off in the dip. Should I move it down to the sand bed and see if it recovers?

Lowering it will assure moderate light. What test kits are you using?
