My Tank Thread
Hi.
It appears I’m having a blue clove polyp issue.
They are growing over an acro, smothering its base. I tried the kalk paste several months ago. It grew back 10x its original size and infected the main rocks
I have 2 options: take apart the aquascape and start from scratch
Or dose Fenbendazole.
The aqua scape is pretty minimal, so I can put in the work on Sunday and get a whole new rock structure.
If I went the Fenbendazole route, would it harm my maxima clams? I have 16.
Here’s a tank photo. The circled part is where it’s located, but I think it already spread to the main rock behind it, and that structure is bonded. My corals are still frags, so I really don’t think it would be the end of the world to make a whole new scape.
My clams and acros are my highest priority.
I have snails, peppermint shrimp, LPS, one zoa, acros, and clams.
