No emergency but just wondering if this is normal; My blue tang seems perfectly healthy but lately has had bowel movements that look like the green hair algae she has been picking off the rocks and is nearly 3 inches long before it releases. She's about 2 inches long and it just looks really odd to me. Let me know if you need any other info and thanks for your input

Yes, sounds normal for a Tang. These large movements are why Tangs have a large bioload on a tank.
