What's a good blue to white ratio for a mixed reef. 300W mars aqua light over a 4 ft 90 gallon tank

Great video on reef lighting by Dana Riddle at MACNA. It's kinda long. But there's good stuff at around minute 22 ish.

Interesting speech. If I understood what he said correctly lights no more than 150-200 par and Alk at 12. My lights are 250 on the high part of the tank and about 140 on the sand, my Alk is 8/9. I'm not sure that the blue to white ratio is important other than for visual preference. My whites are only 15% of my blues and my wife would like even less white. After watching Dana's video I may run my lights even lower. I have noticed that my corals appear to be losing some color.
