blue tort

I just got a small blue tort frag yesterday. The LFS had them under halides ( I think that's how you spell it) at the bottom of the tank. I am put in my tank at the bottom for now. Should I leave it down there or can I glue it to the rock were I want it. It is under LEDs now. Thanks for the help

Still small and one of the blue leg hermits was just on it so no polyp extension.
