Good morning all,

Has anyone used Blue Zoo Aquatics before for livestock? They have a shipping promotion going right now that any live order over $160 is free for overnight shipping. Prices look good, and they offer some fish as male or female, where many vendors I’ve checked do not, even at special request. Can anyone here vouch for them?

I have not used them, but I have read that they are a solid vendor.... And now I'm going to go shopping :)

One that really caught my eye was, though it’s not in stock at this time, they’re selling a pair of green mandarins for $129, sold as around 1-2”. And I’m very interested in having pairs of fish. I’m willing to pay the extra for proof of a compatible male/female pair of fish that aren’t sex-changers like clowns and wrasse.

I just had a really positive experience with them. Very quick to answer my emails and phone calls. Very honest about how difficult it is to ship the particular fish I was interested in.
I'm definitely going to order from them.

Watch your credit card for a fraudulent charge after using them. Happened to me and I’ve read a lot of other people had it happen to them too. A lot of their reviews say this also. Sounds like an insider imo.

I just got an unauthorized charge from
unisport in Denmark for 189.00. What a pain!

I have had 2 more fraudulent charges appear. My bank has canceled my credit card and issued new one.

When I told my bank that this has been apparently happening for years, they said obviously the vendor just doesn't care.

Blue Zoo Aquatics need to solve this issue. I would think most people never order from them again after this happens.

I would have stopped after my first order but I had quite a bit of DOA credit.

3 orders, each followed up by a fraudulent charge. One of my orders was taken over the phone.

Did you ask them about the issue? Did they have a response? I left a voicemail.

Do they have an option to pay via PayPal? Don't think they can make any charges if you use that. Not 100% sure, but yea.

I used them a few years back, they were great had zero issues, dont remember any fraudulent charges.

Yes they have a paypal option. Is that safer than a credit card?

Shame to hear about the fraudulent charge issues. I used them 3 yrs ago and was very happy with my livestock. Hope you get it straightened out.

Another fraudulent charge showed up right before bank completely turned it off. That's a total of 4 fraudulent charges immediately after I used it for Blue Zoo Aquatics.

I got a call back from Blue Zoo. They said the have a new website coming out this Spring. They think because their current site is so old it's easier to hack. When it happens they have IT identify and fix the issue but then someone finds a different way to hack them. They apologized profusely and said its very random. They have had customers buy for years with no problems. Then someone like me will make one purchase and have a problem. They agreed PayPal is safer. They are trying to roll out new website as soon as possible.
